Flightmares: Sky-High Humor is a book of quotes, jokes, cartoons, illustrations, and stories depicting humor in the airlines industry. The author, Robert D. Reed, known for his humor, contracted with a cartoonist from Malaysia named Khairal Izzuddin to put his ideas into cartoons, including the one on the front cover. A famous quote by Mark Russel, "The scientific theory I like best is that the rings of Saturn are composed entirely of lost airline luggage," is illustrated in an image created by Reed's wife, Cleone Reed. A delightful read, this book makes for a wonderful gift, especially if presented in an airline sick bag!

Robert D. Reed (Bob), the fun-loving and generous founder of Robert D. Reed Publishers, has produced and distributed around 2000 titles in his 45+ years as a publisher, including Patch Adams’ best-selling book House Calls. Bob has also co-authored more than 50 books and resource guides.  Wherever he goes, fun, humor and laughter follow him. He even has the word “fun” in his author contracts. His wife Cleone works with him as an editor and graphic designer. Bob is an avid gardener and enjoys cooking, traveling, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
