I am a chair of Vistage International (www.vistage.com), which organizes executive coaching and peer advisory groups; resource speaker; and CEO of my own middle-market company (http://www.linkedin.com/in/businessownercoach). The minimum requirement to participate in a Vistage is heading a company doing at least $1 million in annual revenue; the average member does $52 million in revenue. In the role of facilitator and resource speaker for Vistage over the past seven years, as well as financial counselor to middle market business leaders for more than a decade, I have been exposed to over 6,000 real middle-market CEOs. To promote this book, the Vistage website will allow me to post information about it, which will be seen by its 21,500 members worldwide, 13,000 of whom are in the United States. This strategy worked very favorably for at least three former Vistage resources speakers—Patrick Lencioni, author of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team; Keith Mac Farland, author of The Breakthrough Company: How Everyday Companies Become Extraordinary Performers; and Harry Dent, author of Great Boom Ahead: Your Comprehensive Guide to Personal and Business Profit in the New Era of Prosperity—each of whom became a bestselling author. Books could be bundled with the fees for workshop and webinar registration. The material in this presentation has international implications, as America is the business leader worldwide, and whatever happens here is of interest as leaders look to the future of business in their countries.
