Rafe Mair is a best-selling Canadian author with nine published works including Canada, Is Anyone Listening? and his most recent Radio Daze. A lawyer by trade, Rafe was elected to the British Columbia legislature in 1975 and served as a Cabinet Minister under Premier Bill Bennett until 1980, when he retired from politics and reinvented himself as a radio talk-show host. Brash, opinionated and (usually) well-informed, Rafe dominated the West Coast airwaves for twenty-five years, championing social justice and environmentalism. Today he makes his home just north of Vancouver, BC, with his beloved wife Wendy.
