The Girl Who Walked in the Shadow of the King

Publisher: Illumify Media Global

There once was a girl who walked in the shadow of a King. Not that she realized it. Not at first, anyway.

For many years she suspected she was quite alone. Abandoned. Unloved. With her idyllic childhood shattered by divorce and abuse, Shelly believed there was no one watching over her.

And then she discovered a truth so powerful that nothing would ever be the same: Not past memories. Not current relationships. And certainly not Shelly’s life from that point forward.

In this moving memoir, Shelly explores woundedness and redemption from an unexpected perspective.

The world she describes is rich and raw, and her poignant story will resonate with anyone who has ever felt life twist out of control until they cried out, God, where are you?

The answer, when you finally see it, changes, well… everything.
