The apartment rent is income based. Tenants must earn less then 50% of the area median income. The nonprofit agencies work with tenants, helping them sign up for the support and training they need to regain financial independence and permanent homes.

About Homeless of Oregon Place Apartments

This book is written by the homeless that live at the Oregon Place Apartments in Biloxi. After Katrina hit they were mostly left on the streets to survive alone. They have all contributed their recipes to the book and all proceeds go to the Oregon Place Apartments.
