Rudy Wuite switched careers from being a physicist in the mining industry to investment banking, first doing an MBA at UCT and then working for ABSA Capital and then Standard Bank. He has worked in both London and Johannesburg. It didn't take Rudy long after the career change to realise that the fast-talking suits in this new world were not saying things that were an intellectual stretch but were simply using words that were not widely understood. He compiled the Financial Dictionary to demystify these words and concepts.
