About Sharman Dow
Sharman Dow- International Speaker & Author
with 30 years of Corporate Experience.
Passion coupled with transparency is Sharman’s unique style of dynamic teaching and storytelling. With over 30 years experience in the corporate world, Sharman started her own business from scratch at a time when leadership in commercial insurance sales was dominated by men. She overcame many obstacles to become a successful businesswoman and owner.
Drawing from her business success, personal knowledge, and charismatic style, Sharman coaches and mentors women both in business and in their personal lives. As a professional skydiver, certified scuba diver, and golfer, she has the ability to relate to the inner fears that hold back women from accomplishing their dreams. After starting her own insurance agency with just one client, she quickly grew the company with her tenacity and conviction. Later, a national insurance brokerage firm acquired her agency, where today she is a Senior Vice President.
In the midst of a thriving career Sharman, also became a mother to her husband’s two nieces. As she states, “Starting a company from scratch was a piece of cake in comparison to instantly becoming a mother for the first time in my life!”
In addition to her inspirational/motivational speaking career, Sharman is an author. Her two books, Ten Commandments of Business Success for Women — Achieving Your Goals with Integrity and No Other Agenda But Love — God’s Plan for Your Success, are available for purchase on her website.
Sharman’s desire is to transport women into their destiny and what they were made for. She coaches women to have success with integrity and honor. As an influential businesswoman, Sharman will inspire and motivate women to develop their inner strength and gifting for a higher cause.
In addition to being a Senior Vice President with USI, she is Founder of Empower Women’s Conference, President of Mercy Springs Ministries, and an Ordained Minister in the Foursquare Church. She also sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Sharman and her husband, Bruce, have a combined total of four grown children and live in La Quinta, CA.
