Lost Mines and Buried Treasures of Tennessee
Tennessee's tales of treasure come from a multitude of sources: Indians mining silver for jewelry and ornaments, outlaws burying stolen loot, lost and hidden Civil War payrolls, personal wealth buried and never to be retrieved, and much more. Many attempted to find the lost mines and buried treasures. A number of them succeeded, but many more remain to be found.W.C. Jameson W.C.
