The Last Cowboy
The Last Cowboy is the story of Henry Dunn. After Henry wins a duel with a drunken sheriff in Strickland, Oregon, the mysterious cowboy heads east for Kansas where his long lost childhood love awaits. On the way he picks up his partner, The Kid - the son of a Las Vegas prostitute. Together they make the arduous journey, scraping for money and running from the law.As Henry's girl Angie waits back in Kansas on the verge of home foreclosure, the cowboy fights to get to her, seething against the commercial current.Daniel Uebbing Uebbing was born in Warsaw, New York in 1982. He grew up in Canandaigua, New York. In April 2003 Daniel joined the Army as an Infantryman. He was stationed in Germany and served two tours to Iraq. Daniel now studies at St. John Fisher College and resides in Rochester, NY. This is his debut novel.
