Gadfly
Faced with grave international disputes, military actions around the world, and vicious partisan bickering in Congress, what might be a president's greatest fear? The White House press corps, of course. From time to time, in every era, there emerges a journalist who roams the halls of power like a roaring lion, seeking whatever liars he may devour. Les Kinsolving has filled that role for decades, and his maverick reporting style has endeared him to a host of fans that watch with glee while Kinsolving makes politicians squirm. GADFLY is not only a fascinating slice-of-a-big-life history, but gains entrance into the life of a man of honor, dignity, and that rarest of qualities: a passion for truth, come what may.
