The Whisky Muse

This book is a collection of the best poems and songs, both old and new, on the subject of that great Scottish love, whisky. It is based on a one-man show created by Robin, and combines two of his passions - folk song and whisky. Additional information relevant to particular songs and poems, and other interesting tit-bits on the process of whisky making, are placed alongside humorous art by Bob Dewar, the illustrator for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This collection would be the perfect thing for any fan of a wee dram.

Robin Laing Robin Laing is a whisky expert and author, as well as being a musician, songwriter and interpreter of traditional Scots song. Robin chairs the tasting panel for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and writes many of their almost poetic tasting descriptions. He contributes regularly to Whisky Magazine and performs his 'Whisky and Song' shows all over the world, thus being an ambassador for Scotland in the most enjoyable way imaginable. He currently lives in Lanarkshire.
