Dr. Sam Collins has been named one of the 'Top 200 Women to Impact Business & Industry' by Her Majesty, The Queen of England. Sam founded Aspire in 2001, a globally sought-after organization that empowers women. Its pro-bono mentoring program works in 80 countries and has made a positive difference to the lives of over a million women. Sam is an active campaigner on the role of business in solving world issues, supporting families after suicide, the worldwide orphan crisis and empowering women as leaders in developing and emerging economies. Originally from the UK, Sam now lives in Southern California with her husband and two young sons and is in the process of adopting a young girl called Grace from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
