A Beautiful book featuring wise words of wisdom with photography by Fiona Tomlinson.

Pets have always featured prominently in professional photographer Fiona Tomlinson’s family. It wasn’t until the canine love of Fiona’s life became unwell at the grand age of 14, that she realised she didn’t have any special images of her.

“I had plenty of snapshots but nothing that captured her gorgeous expressions and the magnificent beauty that she was.”

This started Fiona on her journey to capture magnificent ‘old’ dogs.

This is a collection of some of the beautiful dogs she has met and captured on film.

A photographer with a newly discovered passion for pet photgraphy, Fiona tries to capture more than a mere snapshot of one’s beloved pet. She wants her images to express the love, devotion and loyalty shared between a dog and their owner.

Fiona accomplishes this in Old Dog Wisdom as she takes photographs of ‘old’ dogs she has met; capturing each dogs unique expressions and articulating the universal love for ‘man’s best friend’ through bite size quotes of perception.
