Alpine Ski Mountaineering Vol 2 - Central and Eastern Alps

This guidebook describes 11 multi-day Alpine ski tours and ski mountaineering routes in the central and eastern Alps, covering hut-to-hut trails in the Bernese, Urner, Albula Alps as well as the Tour Soleil and classic tours through the Bernina, Silvretta, Otztal, Stubai and Ortler. Skiing, mountaineering and navigational skills are all necessary.

Bill O'Connor Bill O'Connor is an internationally qualified(IFMGA) mountain and ski guide based in the Lake District. He spends up to eight months of the year abroad, at least three of which are spent off-piste skiing and touring in the Alps. A former Head of Outdoor Education at both Marlborough College and Loughborough University he has spent the last twenty-five years guiding.
